Job Description:
The Client needs a strong, detail oriented, self-motivated technical BA that has the experience required and can ramp up quickly. The projects they will be involved in span across all the state agencies. Overall, the BA will support the development, planning, organization, and coordination of various enterprise technology projects, assuming a lead role in the evaluation and analysis of business operations, policies, procedures and workflows to provide strategies. The work will mainly be focused on enterprise applications projects such as MS Access Migration, MS Server 2012 migration planning, SDLC application planning, etc. The position can work remotely. The client currently uses MS Teams for most of our meetings on a daily basis. Being available for calls/meeting during our regular working hours is a must.

  • Manages multidivisional IT projects, including identification and assignment of tasks to project resources, and facilitation of communication among IT and agency staff.
  • Analyzes project requirements, creates detailed scope and identifies hardware, software and technical resources required to implement systems that meet agency requirements, business goals and operating methods, standards, policies, strategies and procedures; recommends solutions, and provides technical assistance to agency staff.
  • Creates project concept document as required to provide high-level information for the review of project viability. Facilitates project kick-off, identifies stakeholders, and assists clients with business process identification, system requirements definition, and business rule development. Advises users on procedures, operations and training needs to provide and promote optimal solutions and best practices.
  • Analyzes data and databases, creates adhoc reports as required. Trains others in the use of ad-hoc reporting tools and defines detailed business information and application data requirements in coordination with assigned client agency staff, and in conjunction with approved data base model and analysis
