Job Description:
This position can be worked remotely, however, ability to work during the  business hours (Eastern Time), and participation in video conferencing meetings is a requirement. Ability to physically come on-site is not required, but would be a big plus. Resource is expected to work as full time, 7.5 hours a day, 5 days a week. May need to work off-hours on the weekend. Description: The evolving nature and reach of the COVID-19 pandemic requires evaluating different types of data to inform decision-making and provide useful, transparent information to the public. As the time goes by, there is a need to evaluate different types of data, integrate it with the case and testing data and provide this integrated information in reporting and  dashboards. For example, as  have eased their travel restrictions, it's important to understand the infection rates of the people visiting . Also, as schools open up, tracking cases and possible community spread within these institutions will be critical to containment and overall education strategy. There is a need for resources that can facilitate the management and administration of our Enterprise Business Intelligence environment to allow the aforementioned data analysis needs to get accomplished. Timeliness is important since the issues surrounding COVID-19 is ever evolving. Candidates must be comfortable working remotely, leading discussions in video meetings with various stakeholders, and should have somewhere between 3-6 years of experience in a role like this, ideally. Experience working with similar data sets in a public health environment would be ideal, but experience working in this role in a fast paced environment with sensitive data is most important. Responsibilities include: • Gather and document business requirements for various projects related to data and reporting. Track progress and provide updates to key stakeholders on project status. • Process user access requests, changes and deactivations for database and BI tools in accordance with the  privacy and security policies. • Release management coordinator for data warehouse and dashboard publishing • Analyzes systems errors and problems, recommends solutions, and provides technical assistance to the Data Warehouse user community. • Writing database queries, navigating database objects and Tableau site administration. • Creating and updating documentation for end users, internal resources and business processes.
 
Skills Required:
  • Experience with Tableau site administration
  • Experience granting security permission and access control as well as experience with overall user account management
  • Experience coordinating release management for data warehouse and dashboard publishing
  • Analyzes systems errors and problems, recommends solutions, and provides technical assistance to the Data Warehouse user community
  • User requirements gathering for reporting, dashboard creation and data integration and translating
  • them into technical/business requirement document.
  • Experience creating and updating documentation for end users, internal resources and business processes
  • Experience providing general troubleshooting support for issues accessing data or dashboards
  • Experience writing database queries, and navigating database objects
  • Experience with Power BI or other visualization tool (other than Tableau, which is required as noted above)
  • Familiarity with Informatica Desired Any experience with creation of Sharepoint sites/pages is a bonus
  • Experience working in a fast- paced environment with highly sensitive data
  • Experience working with similar data sets in a public health environment
  • Must have excellent communications skills and be comfortable leading discussions with various takeholders in video meetings
  • Must be comfortable working in a remote environment
