Job Responsibilities:

 

• Review business requirements and provide inputs.
• Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
• Execute tests (manual / automated).
• Report defects and assist in their understanding.
• Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
• Prepare and present test reports.

 

 

Skills and Experience Required:

 

Required

• 6 to 8 years of experience in manual testing (automation testing is good to have).
• Experience in testing for web, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Performance testing.
• Sound knowledge of test scripting
• Possess hands-on experience with relational databases and reading/writing SQL, including joins, at the programming level. T-SQL is preferred.
• Experience with any of these programing languages:  java/c#, java script, VB script
• Complete understanding of SDLC, STLC
• Experience in working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment
• Experience in
  • preparing the test strategy, test plan and reporting test results.
