*local candidates strongly preferred
*candidate hired will work remotely through 1/31/21 but will then be required to work onsite in Chester, VA 100% of the time, M-F 8-5pm
Job Description:
A highly organized and analytical Business Process Analyst is needed to interface with business and technology teams to support the expansion of a vendor based Contract Management Solution (CMS) and an in-house developed Supplier Reporting System (SRS) for our client. Currently, SRS is expanding to support the requirements of Executive Order 20 (EO 20).   Analyst, must demonstrate technology competence and business acumen.
A self-starter to develop actionable plans, to fully participate in completing identified tasks (hands-on) and to lead the team in defining processes, monitoring tasks, leading work sessions or performing the tasks required to implement agreed solutions.  
Candidate must have strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal direction, the ability to lead process improvement efforts and the ability to lead project activities as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the Contract Management System (CMS) implementation by working with end users, technical staff and vendor.
  • Ensure delivery of project deliverables per plan including business processes, procedures and training as well as changes that result from project implementation.
  • Monitor and manage project tasks, scope and timeline
  • Ensure the successful transition from project implementation to operations
  • Facilitate sessions to analyse workflows and define requirements
  • Document business processes, workflows and requirements
  • Provide user guidance and training as needed to support operational activities after project implementation
  • Identify project-related issues, risks and solutions
  • Provide regular updates including project accomplishments, issues and next steps
  • Support the implementation of an in-house developed Supplier Reporting System (SRS) which is dependent on data from the CMS. EO 20 is in the latter phase of testing while a CMS upgrade is underway.
